In 2015, the United Nations Federal Credit Union created its Global Sustainability Program.

In 2018, UNFCU hosted the first United in Sustainability credit union summit at the United Nations Headquarters in New York City.

Working with its credit union and United Nations partners, UNFCU created the United In Sustainability Network around these pillars:

Whether from the perspective of our field of membership, communities or the financial services industry as a whole, credit unions already take the lead when it comes to sustainable practices and values.

Credit unions are natural collaborators. When we work together we multiply our impact and can share ideas and resources to develop  best practices and other innovations.

We are focused on the credit union industry, and the unique suppliers, thought leaders, and stakeholders we need to influence.
